We were out for a walk in the nearby town of Eggenburg, when my wife spotted this on the 3rd story of a building about a block off the main square. It appears to be a replica of the famous, “Manneken Pis” in Brussels, Belgium. As to why it is sitting in a niche in a house, 20 meters above the street in a small town in Austria, your guess is as good as mine. A close-up extracted from the image follows.
